    Chapter 1
    Lilly’s view
I sat in the driver seat of my Audi, staring at the funeral home across the street. No one had noticed me yet, sitting in the setting sun. No one had been expecting me either. Inside, the man I had been in love with and lost was mourning the death of one of our own, while I sat outside, mourning myself over that mutual friend, being selfish, and not going inside to deal with my past.
I watched as Knoxville, Wee Man and Steve-O entered the building. So many memories made with this crew, my closest friends. All the stupid antics, the broken bones, the jokes and pranks…
“Poor Ape.” I mumbled, watching the Mother Hen of the crew lean against Phil as she walked inside. I waited until everyone was inside before getting out of the Audi.
    “Lilly?”
‘Please don’t be a fan or the papz.’ I thought to myself turning around. ‘Even worse’ I added in my head.
    Missy.
“I thought that red hair looked familiar.” She gave a half assed smile, hugging me awkwardly. I patted her back twice and moved away from the hug. I didn’t want her touching me. She was the reason I would never have what I wanted. She’s the reason he turned into a pussy who looked miserable and lost, like a kicked puppy. “Do the guys?”
“No.” I replied, knowing how to finish that sentence. “No one knew I was coming. But Dunn was like a brother to me. It wouldn’t be right if I wasn’t here.”
“I agree.” She stated. It was quiet for a few minutes. “I better get in there. Bam’s waiting for me.”
‘Nice play bitch. Hit me where you knew it counts.’ I thought to myself as I nodded. Now wasn’t the time to be petty about bullshit. She walked away, leaving me standing by the side of the car. I waited a few minutes, pulling myself together, before walking into the building. All small chatter stopped and faced me. I looked down at the floor, my side bangs falling into my face. I heard Ape sob as I was rushed at and thrown into the center of the crew, hugged at once by 10-12 guys.
All but one eventually stepped back from me. I looked into the steel blue eyes and saw the misery and pain pouring out of them.
“I told myself I would never forgive you for leaving.” He informed.
“Funny, I told myself I would never forgive you for the pain you caused me.” I retorted. “But I really don’t think now is the time to be having this conversation.”
“Will we ever have that conversation?” he questioned as I walked past him towards the urn and picture of Dunn. I stopped in my midstep, the heel of my black stiletto making a sharp noise in the quiet of the room.
“Depends on a few variables.” I sighed, not taking my eyes off the picture of Dunn, smiling and laughing at us. I felt the tears fall. “Once again, not the time.”
Bam stood next to me, staring at Dunn’s picture also.
“You are not leaving until you do talk to me.” With that, he turned, kissed the top of my head and walked away.

    Chapter 2
    Bam’s view
I sat at the bar, listening to the chatter around me. I had started playing random footage from years past on the flat screen TV above the bar. The Right Here in My Arms Montage from CKY3 started playing. 17 year old Lilly, freshly licensed to drive, behind the wheel of her brand new Audi. I sighed, thinking back to that specific day.
    *flashback*
“Well?” I asked as Lilly walked outta the DMV. I had met her down at the testing place so she wouldn’t see her gift.
“I’m licensed!” she exclaimed. I grinned and hugged her, swinging her around.
“She’s all yours Bam.” Steven laughed, walking by us. “Lil, I will see you at home later tonight.”
“Maybe” Lil added. Steve smiled, and left. I placed keys in Lils hand before pulling her towards the parking lot.
“Where’s your car?” Lil asked, confused looking around.
“At home. We’re taking yours.” I grinned, pointing to the blue Audi.
    “No you didn’t.”
    “Yep, I did. Congrats Lilly-Pie.”
“You are awesome.” Lil sighed, wrapping her arms around my neck.
“I know.” I laughed, kissing her. She returned the kiss, as I pulled her closer to me. Life time of being friends had brought us to the dating stage.
    *End flashback*
“Bam, earth to Bam.” I sighed, and looked at Missy next to me.
    “I’m gonna head out.”
    “Yep.” I responded.
“Let me know you’re doing okay.”
“Sure thing.” I mumbled, staring at the untouched beer in front of me. Missy walked away. A few minutes later, someone stood behind the bar in front of me and leaned against it. I looked up to find blue eyes staring at me. “Should you be behind my bar?”
“I was getting shitty service.” Lil replied, mixing herself a drink. I rolled my eyes, leaning my head against my hand. “I didn’t wanna piss off your wife, so I decided to wait till she left to approach.”
“She’s not my wife anymore. We’ve been done for quite some time.” I informed, looking up behind Lilly to the TV just as Dunn got clotheslined while riding a bike.
“Well, look what I get for being nice.” Lil shrugged. “Bonus.”
    “I’m still pissed at you.”
“Good, cuz I am still pissed at you. So, there, we are even.”
“Why did you come back?” I questioned, taking a chug of my beer.
“To say goodbye to Dunn. I almost didn’t because of you.”
“Don’t blame me for that shit. You left.”
“Yea, AFTER you left my ass sitting on a beach in Cancun with a diamond wedding band sitting in a box. “
“I didn’t leave you there. You never showed up!” I exclaimed. This got the attention of everyone in the room. “Out back now Lilly.”
“Gladly, for once. I don’t feel like having this conversation in front of others.” She snapped back, whipping around and heading back to the back parking lot. I slammed the door shut and looked at her.
“And what do you mean I never fucking showed?” Lilly demanded. “I sat on that fucking beach for 3 hours waiting on your ass to show up!”
“Bull shit!” I exclaimed. “I waited for you!” I stopped yelling and looked at Lilly. “You waited 3 hours where? And what diamond wedding band?”
“Where you told me to meet you in the note.” She replied, confused. “You did write that note. It was your writing.”
    “No, I wrote no note.”
“What the fuck…” Lilly said, leaning back against the wall. I stared at her. “What were you told?”
“Mine was an email that said meet me here at 6:30. I got something I wanna show you. <3 Lilly-Pie” I stated. “After waiting for you, and you not showing, I went back to the hotel where I received a text message from you saying you couldn’t handle this anymore. You had to leave.”
“I sent no text message.” Lilly stated, seriously. “I lost my phone in Cancun. The morning of your note actually.”
“So, you didn’t really mean to leave me?” I made it a question. Lil sighed.
“Bam, I was so in love with you…”
“Was?” I questioned. “Or still are? If it was that difficult for you to show up here today…”
“Quit being a douche.” I grinned, knowing I hit it on the nail.
    *2 am*
I crawled my way to the back of the attic, aiming for long lost items left behind by Missy. Lilly had fallen asleep on the couch, so I had carried her into my room and laid her on the bed so she would be more comfortable. I had a feeling something in the boxes Missy buried once she moved in here, and forgot would give me a hint on wlly.”
“So, you didn’t really mean to leave me?” I made it a question. Lil sighed.
“Bam, I was so in love with you…”
“Was?” I questioned. “Or still are? If it was that difficult for you to show up here today…”

*2 a?” I questioned. “Or still are? If it was that difficult for you to show up here todaym*
I crawled my way to the back of the attic, aiming for long lost items left behind byhat the fuck was really going on that fateful day in Cancun when I lost my one true love.
I located the boxes, and brushed the dust off the top of the first one. I took off the lid and started going through it. I pulled out a small box and attempted to open it. Locked. I dug around for a little while longer, coming across a set of keys eventually. I managed to get the lock undone, and opened the box. Sitting on the very top was a receipt, and underneath a jewelry box and Lilly’s cell phone. I opened the jewelry box to find a ring, and Lilly’s white gold Heartagram necklace. Inside the box was a note. “Thanks for standing me up fuckface! Glad to know how you really feel!”
I crawled back out of the attic, texting Missy that I needed to return a few items she had left behind to her and if she would stop by in the am to pick them up.

    Chapter 3
    Next am
I stood in the kitchen, making Lilly a cup of coffee as Missy came in through the door. I glanced at her, before turning my attention to the cup.
“You said you had a few things of mine?” she asked. I nodded.
“On the dining room table.” I informed. I grabbed Lilly’s cup of coffee and followed Missy up the stairs. Missy stopped at tng across a set of keys eventually.

Chapthe top once she saw Lilly sitting at the head of the table, the box in front of her closed.
“Good morning, Missy.” Lilly said as I stepped around Missy and put Lils’ cup in front of her.
“How did you find that?” Missy blurted out.
“Did you really think it wouldn’t have been found at some point? Or that Lilly and I would go on forever not speaking?”
“I had hoped.” Missy stated. Lilly sighed, opening the box and pulling out the cell phone, which she had pulled the sim card out and inserted into another phone.
“Nice choice in diamonds by the way. Wouldn’t have been my first choice with my career as a skater, but nice none the less.” Lilly put the ring box on the table. “And I love having my Heartagram back.”
“Where’s the why?” Missy asked, folding her arms.
“I know why. You’re a selfish whore who wanted what she knew she would never get. So she had to ruin a good thing, a true thing between two people so you could have what you wanted, but didn’t deserve.” Lilly shook her head. “But it’s okay. Fate played its way in the end. Karma’s a bitch.”

    Lilly’s view
    3 days later
I walked into my best friend/step sister’s, Lia’s salon, attaching my keys to the belt loop of my jeans.
“You’re back!” she exclaimed, hugging me. I returned the hug. “How did it go?”
“We got a lot to catch up on.” I stated, sitting in the chair. She flipped the sign to closed and faced me.
“Talk.” I smiled, as Eliza, the third sister stepped into the room.
“Well, good. Now I don’t have to repeat myself.” I laughed, as the two found seats around the salon. “So, come to find out, he never meant to stand me up.”
“Bullshit.” Lia cut in. I held up my hand to stop her.
“He really didn’t. He thought I stood him up, and then supposedly sent him a text from that cell phone that was stolen, saying I couldn’t handle anymore and that I was leaving.”
“Wait, back it up… that cell phone that was stolen?” Eliza asked. I nodded.
“I had lost my cell phone the morning I received his ‘
